Website privacy policy
Effective October 7, 2026
This policy describes information handled through PlateSentry’s public product website at plate-sentry.com. It does not describe all processing within the enforcement application or client-operated parking programs; those activities are subject to the relevant client’s notices and agreements.
For license plate images, virtual chalking, enforcement records, and recognition testing, see our ALPR Usage & Privacy Policy.
Information you provide
The demo inquiry form asks for your first name, last name, work email address, and number of locations. Submitting it prepares a message in your email application; it does not automatically send an email or save those form entries to our website’s records. We receive that information when you send the email. You may also contact us directly and provide information in your message.
Please do not include license plates, driver records, payment details, or other sensitive personal information in a product inquiry.
Technical information and browser storage
Our hosting and delivery providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser and device information, timestamps, and diagnostic logs to deliver, secure, and maintain the website. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts; your browser contacts Google’s font services, which receive technical request information including your IP address.
We have not added advertising pixels or behavioral advertising tools to the public website. If you have signed into PlateSentry, authentication services may use browser storage to maintain your session. Public product information does not require signing in. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings; clearing session storage may sign you out.
How information is used and shared
We use inquiries to respond to questions, arrange demonstrations, discuss requested services, and maintain business correspondence. Technical information supports website delivery, troubleshooting, and security.
Information may be handled by service providers that support website hosting, email, security, and authentication. Your own email provider also handles messages you choose to send. Information may be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security. We do not sell demo inquiry information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We retain business correspondence as needed to respond to inquiries, maintain the business relationship, and meet legal or recordkeeping obligations. Technical records are subject to provider retention practices. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or ask us to stop nonessential follow-up. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information. We may need to verify your identity before acting and may retain information where legally required. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Send privacy requests to info@plate-sentry.com, with “PlateSentry privacy request” in the subject. This is also the contact for assistance accessing the website.
Children and external links
This business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through product inquiries. External websites and email services have their own privacy practices.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as website practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
